I wasn’t aware that I was taking influence from Majora’s Mask until I’d already done it. Must have been a subconscious thing.

But yes, considering the game takes place over a period of 72 hours that count down to a catastrophic event with things getting worse and worse on the lead up to it…

Some things just sink deep into your brain, I guess. And then there’s the eyes. I swear “Majora’s Mask” never ran through my head until all that stuff was completely done, but looking at it now, it’s so obvious. So it was an unintentional influence.

To be fair, though, the number of “72 hours” is significant. The fact that that also equals 3 days is pure coincidence. But there’s a reason behind the precise number of hours.

Those aren’t frog’s eyes, though! I’m sure the master of the mansion would be very upset if he heard people thought he had frog eyes. His own fault for having mildly amphibious eyeballs, I guess.
